After looking through the amazing work published in DeviantArt, I get so inspired by other's talents, especially of those who really make the effort to learn and hone their craft.  It makes me realize just how much I'm in my infancy by comparison.  But I want to document this era in my growth to reflect the frustration of the growing pains I'm experiencing ... of wanting to evolve with my work, but not really knowing how.  That way years later, I could refer back and remember ... Unfortunately, I haven't come across many pertinent tutorials that share how one gets certain effects, so I've had to make do, stumbling and fumbling with Photoshop

I love DeviantArt and how it enables us to journal our experiences with photos and art.  My first journal entry is done so I can refer to the process of some of the images I've done, starting with Queen of the Night/Something Wicked This Way Comes.  This is also for those who question the how to's of an image, which I always find myself asking when I see other's work.
